Unlike conventional farming, which often depletes soil health and relies heavily on synthetic inputs, regenerative farming focuses on restoring and enhancing natural ecosystems. We closely monitor soil health because healthier land supports beneficial microbes that aid plant growth but also sequesters carbon from the atmosphere, mitigating climate change. Instead of using synthetic fertilizers and pesticides we use natural inputs like compost, manure, and organic matter to nourish our soil and to control pests. This reduces chemical runoff and minimizes harm to surrounding ecosystems.

We know for a fact that a healthier animal results in healthier food. This is why we raise our animals with a holistic, all-natural approach. We don't use growth hormones or routine antibiotics.

The Hereford cattle line is a tried and tested breed. As far back as 1934, Neil W. Trask was at work breeding this line right here on American soil. Over 60 years, he crafted this line into (in his own words), “economical, beef making, profit making, grazing animals that finish on Grass alone and have superior fertility and longevity." This is the heritage our Lee Creek cattle are descended from!
